Smart network
and smart solutions
Trident International provides businesses with solutions to operate SMART Networks for both clean and wastewater.
We use our own our in-house expertise, who have conducted research and development (R&D) to assist water companies in managing SMART networks. Our solutions harness data to deliver enriched information, enabling informed decision making about real-time network operations.
With this enhanced knowledge, our systems empower you to better communicate network conditions to your customers when necessary and business stakeholders. Our software engineers and AI team can create custom data lakes and warehouses, equipping you with the right tools to analyse data for accuracy, identify issues, and address any anomalies that may require human or AI intervention.
We can utilise this data to offer SMART tools, including live modelling using our own modelling software, that integrates your SMART devices and telemetry data across your network. These tools can issue alerts about potential problems, often weeks or days before they escalate into major incidents. Additionally, we are open to discussions about developing new tools tailored to your business needs, whether to enhance performance, improve reporting, boost customer interaction, or streamline existing systems.

AI, SMART Network solutions and software
Data verification
Using machine learning, we can swiftly analyse and process vast quantities of data, offering valuable insights and analysis derived from that information.
Automated model verification tools effortlessly verifies telemetry, model, flow balances, and reservoir depth data with just a click. It decreases manual verification efforts by more than 90%.
Leakage data tools
Our Leakage data tool, identifies and looks for anomalous leakage patterns. Its aim is to predict when bursts will occur in the future and provide advance indication. We also incorporate ‘detection’ data from historic work activities which aids us in determining asset health or network operation.
Combining data sources allows the software to understand at what point a rise in leakage was detected and repaired using our technology , compared with it not being used. This provides detail around response times for each DMA, and where leakage has not been identified soon enough, it allows managers to accurately calculate cost benefit in the system.

We can then benchmark performance against other DMA’s, identifying problems sooner.

Incident management and modelling software that offers real-time network performance insights on valve operations or network modifications, along with comprehensive reporting on overall network performance for regulators. Contact us via email to discuss your AI and software needs.
Smart network and incident management
We have created systems that use our industry-leading AI technology to gather data from the diverse sensors within your network.
This allows us to alert you to changes or potential issues with your network or specific assets, often weeks or days before a problem escalates. In the event of an incident, our incident management systems offer insights into network performance, provide technicians with details on which valves to be operated, can keep customers informed through mobile SMS technology, and handle regulatory reporting for ODI performance measures like Supply Interruption and Leakage.

Automated model builds
Trident International has developed software that facilitates automated model creation. Our comprehensive system:
-
Retrieves, cleans, and verifies GIS data before the model building process, significantly reducing the hours spent by network modellers.
-
Automatically constructs models according to client specifications then validates and executes a model from scratch. Model data can also be transferred back to GIS, offering insights into network models without needing the modelling software.
-
Ensures all models are verified, with the system identifying issues or discrepancies between the model and telemetry data.
-
Features data lake and warehouse systems, allowing data to be stored in a single warehouse that provides a unified source of truth.
We utilise a component-based architecture, enabling the implementation of specific modules tailored to client needs. The short video illustrates the basic operation of our model builder. (Click the musical note to toggle sound.)
